1. Booking & Reservations

Confirmation

Bookings are confirmed once you receive a confirmation email or phone call. Please check the date, time and party size carefully.

Changes

You can modify your booking online via Resdiary or by contacting us at info@streetcafe.com. Changes must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

2. Cancellation Policy

Notice required

All bookings require 48 hours’ cancellation notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a charge at our discretion.

Walk-ins

Walk-in guests are welcome subject to availability during opening hours (8am–4pm, 7 days).

Cancellation by Street Cafe

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a booking. You will be notified as soon as possible, and we will offer an alternative date or full refund.

3. Deposits (private room bookings only)

Deposit amount

£100 deposit required to confirm private room bookings.

Payment

Deposits are payable via bank transfer, card payment, or cash. We will provide payment details upon booking confirmation.

Refund terms

Your £100 deposit is fully refundable if you cancel with at least 7 days’ notice. Cancellations with less than 7 days’ notice will forfeit the deposit.

Final payment

The balance is due on the day of your event, payable by cash or card.

4. Payment

Payment methods

We accept cash and card (Visa, Mastercard).

When payment is due

• Casual bookings: payment due at the end of your meal
• Private events: £100 deposit upon booking; balance due on the day

Pricing

Menu prices are subject to change. We will confirm final pricing when you book a private event.

5. Private Events

Minimum group size

No minimum, but bookings for groups of 10+ require a deposit and must be arranged in advance.

Maximum capacity

• Private room: up to 32 guests
• Exclusive hire: up to 65 guests

Event length

Standard private bookings are 2–3 hours. Longer events can be arranged — please discuss with us when booking.

Menu

We offer full menu flexibility for private events. Our team will work with you to create a menu that suits your plans and budget.

Drinks

Outside drinks are not permitted. We offer a full selection of wine, beer and soft drinks at competitive rates. Custom drinks packages can be arranged.

Setup & breakdown

We handle all setup and breakdown. Please discuss any specific requirements (tables, decorations, music) when you book.

6. Liability & Allergies

Allergy notification

It is essential that you inform us of any food allergies or intolerances when booking. Please be specific about ingredients and severity. We take allergies very seriously and will discuss safe options with you.

Cross-contamination

While we take precautions to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that dishes are completely free from traces of allergens due to the size of our kitchen.

Health & safety

You are responsible for informing us of any health or dietary requirements before placing your order.

7. House Rules

Photography

Personal photography is welcome. If you’re planning a professional photographer for your event, please let us know in advance.

Noise & music

Street Cafe is a community space. We ask that events maintain a reasonable noise level out of respect for other guests and neighbours.

Behaviour

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone behaving in a manner we deem disruptive or inappropriate.

Children

Children are always welcome at Street Cafe. We’re a family-friendly space.

Dogs

We are a dog friendly establishment. Well behaved dogs are very welcome.
